Date Night: Bourbon Steak
September 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm$65
Learn how to create an authentic steakhouse experience at home. Working as a couple, and guided by our Executive Chef, you’ll prepare a pan-seared grass-fed, locally-raised (just a few miles from here) beef tenderloin fillet with a perfectly savory-salty herb crust, bourbon-bacon glaze with shallot and herbs, and garlic-horseradish smashed potatoes to pair with roasted vegetables.
The price is per couple, with beer and wine available for purchase. Class is limited to 5 couples.
Continuing our commitment to local, we’ve partnered with Florida Fresh Meat Company to provide this evening’s beef tenderloin. Read more about their company below.
The small class size creates an interactive setting, where questions and lively conversation are encouraged. Complimentary infused waters are provided, and as a guest in our teaching kitchen, you’ll receive 10% off in our retail store with proof of class registration*.
ALLERGY INFO: We’ll be using dairy during class.
* 10% discount is valid for retail purchases only and may not be used for cooking classes, seminars, or workshops. Offer expires 24 hours after registered class has ended.

About Florida Fresh Meat Company:
Locally- and family-owned, Florida Fresh Meat Company distributes a full line of local sustainable, chemical-free meats, including free-range, gourmet grass fed and finished Angus beef, as well as pasture-raised pork, lamb, goat and chicken. Through their network of local ranches and farms, they also offer farm-raised, fresh-water-fed young tender gator, quail, duck and rabbit.
Their proteins are harvested from healthy, docile animals raised on lush shaded pastures throughout North Central Florida. These exceptional animals feast on a salad bar of pesticide-free gourmet forage including clover, wheat, oat and rye grasses, millet, perennial peanut, and more. Their harvesting facility is also animal humane audited. Beef is dry-aged using traditional methods in ventilated refrigerated lockers for up to 28 days, which naturally tenderizes the meat & enhances its flavor.
Not only can you enjoy Florida Fresh Meat Company meats during our cooking classes, but they are also available in butcher shops and select retail locations for you to enjoy at home as well. Visit their website at www.floridafreshmeat.com for more about their company, practices, and retail locations.
